Kenny G | “ELFBOT” | Los Angeles Professional Event Photography

Years ago when I was in high school, I was a big fan of Kenny G, I used to hang out with couple of my ‘intelectual’ friends, and by intelectual I meant that my group of friends who were way older than me, some were between 35-45 years old, most of them were professionals while I was a merely high school student, how in the world I was hanging out with them is another story.

Those days one of my friends ‘Juan Carlos’ who is a photographer, used to play Kenny G when he had dinners at his place, that is when I first heard about Kenny G’s music, at the beginning I though it was a very boring music, but after listening couple of his albums, I kinda liked his style. Years later I had the chance to photograph Kenny G in many special events, such as today when he was performing for a live interactive reading event for the upcoming christmas book story ‘ELFBOT’ at Barnes and Noble (One of my favorites places to kill an afternoon reading books, magazines) at The Americana at Brand in Glendale, California.
